Bitte macht weiter so :-)

Well, you can say both. WebVelocity is based on VisualWorks and enriches it with a Web interface for your porgramming, but on the other hand, Cincom markets it as a separate product.

And, of course, we didn't mention quite a few smalltalk implementations, like the one's you're talking about. We wanted to avoid a long and boring list like James and Michael once had it when they tried to mention all Smalltalk implementations in one episode.

We tried to concentrate on those that we think are relevant and in real use at the moment (okay, then we forgot at least VSE). I haven't heard a lot about MT recently, just like syt, huemul and many others.

We'll still have to see how far James Ladd gets with Redline. If he really makes Pharo run on the JVM, it may be a revolution and many arguments against Smalltalk will simply implode at this very instant. But Redline is not the first attempt to run Smalltalk on the JVM. There have been earlier projects that didn't get to fly.

We also forgot Clamato, and we didn't talk about Ambrai, which seems to really be history (which I personally think is extremely sad).

And we didn't mention F-Script. The list goes on...

But I'm sure that if we survive a few episodes ;-), we'll talk about some of them later.

WebVelocity is a Product on top of VW, not a standalone Smalltalk.

What about Redline ST, SmalltalkMT, ...
